Frequently Asked Questions

Do you require an assessment first? If so, how are these performed (online/face-to-face)?

No, an assessment is not necessary. Many of our students have an initial assessment with us before proceeding to therapy if needed, but we can also accept other reports (if in enough detail) and/or dynamically assess during the first therapy sessions to establish goals.
Feedback will be provided verbally, and no written report will be issued.

Where do you provide your sessions?

We offer therapy sessions in the following locations:

  • At your home (mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile from our Dartford base)

  • At our space

  • At school (subject to school permissions) charged at £0.45 per mile from our Dartford base)

  • Online sessions for children aged 7 and above

Do parents stay with their child during the sessions?

It is entirely up to you whether you wish to stay with your child during the sessions. Parents tend to stay with their children during therapy sessions at our space but this is not compulsory. Parent do not tend to support their children remotely - but will be available in the background for any technical issues.

When is your availability?

We provide therapy sessions Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. We do not offer weekend appointments at the moment - but will reintroduce these in the future. We are currently at full capacity for face to face therapy, but can offer assessments and remote therapy. Our team is based in different locations around the UK and that is why we are able to offer more remote slots.

What qualifications do you hold?

All of our therapists are HCPC and RCSLT registered and hold either BSc or MSc degrees in Speech and Language therapy. All of our therapists have engaged with a range of training in their clinical specialisms on top of their degree, we keep up to date with the latest evidence base and engage in the required CPD.

Who do you work with?

We are trained to work with a range of children and young people with a range of difficulties. We work with students with autism, ADHD, DLD and other neurodiversities.
We work with ages 2-25. We currently do not work with adults, but we hope this will be something we can provide in the future.

Do you take insurance?

Not at the moment but we are looking to become a registered provider with insurances soon.
